What Influences You Most In The Morning?

What do you think about the very first thing in the morning when you wake up?

The thoughts you have during the first half-hour of each morning will greatly influence your entire day. You may not realize this, but it is happening all the same.

If you set out each day with worry, fear, depression or bitterness, then you are laying the foundation for a day of discords and misfortunes. But if you think only peace, hope and happiness you are sounding a note of harmony, and surrounding yourself with words and thoughts of courage and success.

Now you may not feel the result right away, but it will not fail to make itself shown eventually. Control your morning thoughts. You can do it. The first moment on waking, no matter what your mood, say to yourself:

"I will get all the comfort and pleasure possible out of this day, and I will do something to add to the measure of the world's happiness or well-being.

I will control myself when tempted to be irritable or unhappy, I will look for the bright side of every event."

Once you say these things to yourself in a calm and positive way, you will begin to feel more cheerful. Your worries and troubles of the coming day will seem less and less of a problem.

Then also say:

"I shall be given help to meet anything that comes today. Everything will be for the best. I shall succeed in whatever I undertake. I cannot fail."

Do not let it discourage you if the moment you leave your room you encounter trouble or disaster...

This usually happens. When we declare we are brave enough to overcome any fate, we find our strength put to the test at once.

But that is all right. Prove your words to be true. Regard the troubles you encounter as the "obstacles" of fate, given you to develop your mind power muscles.

Go at them with courage and keep to your positive-morning-plan. Day by day your troubles will lessen, and you will soon find yourself master of your own Circumstances...

The Problem Of Delegation In Your Workplace

Unless you are lucky enough to be on a staff of go getters and hard workers, it is up to you to make sure you are properly managing and directing work.

And because it may also be your responsibility to assign specific tasks, you need to decide what to delegate and what not to delegate…

Below are 2 short and simple guidelines to help you with this:

1. Try To Delegate Tasks Which Are Routine, Simple And Necessary

These are the jobs which are easiest to delegate. Because they are tasks you have done so many times before...

You are already quite familiar with them; you also know the potential problems and how to solve them. And since you know the task so well, you can explain and delegate them away without any difficulty at all.

2. Delegate Tasks To The Specialties

Unless you are a doctor or surgeon, you would not perform surgery on anybody!

The same principles should also apply to your work. You should always make the most of any specialties which are in your office.

Say you were responsible for ordering a new computer system; you could delegate the research to the computer programmer in your office.

Or say you have an employee who is good at math; you can give that person the responsibility of double-checking the calculations in your reports and figures etc...
