Inspire And Motivate Yourself!

Self-help is available at every corner you turn and you may not even realize it. The first thing you should do is make a list of self-help topics that interest you the most or you have inquired about in the past.

These should be topics you have at least some interest in and are willing to invest a little time learning. It may be helpful to start with your own interests.
For example, if you’re interested in writing, sports, finances, weight loss, etc… is a good place for you to start.

What self-help areas are you presently in at the moment?

Let’s say you are interested in losing weight. Maybe you have recently joined a fitness center and have been helping yourself lose weight daily. Maybe you’re interested in writing?

Always make a list of self-help topics you enjoy and you want to overcome and defy the odds. Maybe you are broke and want to overcome your debt. Reading a financial management book to help control your assets may be the best investment of your life. Your family and friends may not believe you can overcome your debt problems, but by believing in yourself and accepting the challenge hands on - should enable you to easily overcome your problems.

Just have patience and confidence in yourself. Confidence and a willingness to learn are the keys to overcoming any challenge. Have patience and be willing to accept self-help can be a major factor to anyone’s success.

I wish you the best of luck in your future career path!

Motivation Success: The Little Engine That Could

How many things do we need to be successful at?
How many ways can we motivate ourselves to accomplish this success? Every day we push ourselves. Looking for motivation and success?

We connect with our family and friends; connect with our colleagues. There are only so many ways to stretch ourselves. Every time there is a dip in the proverbial cup the need to fill it back up is there.

We think the cup is easier to fill then it was for our ancestors; accomplishing it perhaps less harsh but tedious just the same. There is a history of leaders using motivation to build successful societies. Gathering food to stay alive or clothing their families for warmth. We are as driven as our ancestors.

Our motivation for success is instinctual. Even at the earliest stage of life; infants driven by it to crawl; toddlers driven by it to walk. In the teen years we’re driven by motivation to become successful academically; well, somewhere after the pursuit of finding something on four wheels to leave the nest. As high school and college graduates, the drive cumulates to the ultimate motivation; success through our work.

The road we find ourselves on however is not a straight path in any one direction. Women and men jaunt off in all directions. Responsibilities coupled with the desire to be successful in all we do. Are we successful husbands, wives, parents, co-workers, and friends? Are we motivated enough to continue this success? To get there is the paradox of having and obtaining more motivation to in the end be more successful.

This instinct drives men and women the same. Not in competition; motivation is about something more in the context of survival, or living if you will. Individuals with motivation may be misunderstood. Levels of motivation may differ between two people. Perhaps, as instinct would have it, one individual knows his needs to feed himself alone while another is aware of his needs to feed a family.

It may not be uncommon for individuals to feel in competition. Perhaps it is more that we reevaluate our needs through the observation of others. A personal wakeup call so to speak.

To find what we are looking for, we can either motivate ourselves for personal success; or as our ancestors did in building societies, we can motivate for the success of all. Motivation and success go hand in hand; personally and in a community.

Neither is unique to any one individual, sex, age or culture. It is instinctual; and in the instances where we may forget to use our motivation; success is not lost. Though we can apply our hearts and minds to find our silenced sense of motivation and our success will follow.

Putting Motivation Into Yourself And Others

Are you looking for a bit more confidence, or a little more self-esteem?

How about being your very own motivator? By taking charge and putting yourself back in control?

You may easily do this, just by learning that all true motivation, the real kind which lasts, the only kind you can count on, is internal motivation…

Imagine having a personal coach, teacher or trainer which always stayed with you, season after season and every day in between. Imagine not needing to wait for someone else to get you charged up and feeling your best.

Imagine being able to rely on yourself to always automatically and unconsciously energize your body and mind, focus your attention, and keep you in tune, on top form, and always going for it!

Think about never again needing someone else to prod, push or persuade you into achieving your own best efforts?

Your very own internal coach is ready and waiting to do this for you…

It is your best friend, your closest ally, your strongest believer. It will show you the best in yourself and help you achieve it. It will give you direction, put purpose in your stride, strengthen your will, and give you unquestioned belief.

It is loyal to you always. It is the coach which never goes home. It is the ultimate motivator. And will never fail you!

Taking Control Of Your Attitudes

Examine your attitudes... look at them... assess them...

Take control of your beliefs about yourself, take a mental inventory check of your attitudes (good and bad) and decide for yourself which of those attitudes work for you and which do not.

The ones you do not want to keep, simply throw out. Get rid of them and only keep the ones you like.

Change the ones you want to change. Take charge of your attitudes. Put yourself back in control. The least that could happen is that you would get a little more of your real self back again.

Discover the jewels and gems which are part of your own mind. Seek out and find the rich reserve “attitudes” within you which have been waiting to step out and live again…

Start your journey right way. Little changes in your attitudes can make big changes in your life. Your attitudes affect all of the important things around you.

They affect how you feel about yourself. They affect your work, your friends, and your loved ones.

When your attitudes get better, so does life. If you would like to start making a change or two. Then fixing an attitude and making life a little better can be a great place for you to start…

The Problem Of Delegation In Your Workplace

Unless you are lucky enough to be on a staff of go getters and hard workers, it is up to you to make sure you are properly managing and directing work.

And because it may also be your responsibility to assign specific tasks, you need to decide what to delegate and what not to delegate…

Below are 2 short and simple guidelines to help you with this:

1. Try To Delegate Tasks Which Are Routine, Simple And Necessary

These are the jobs which are easiest to delegate. Because they are tasks you have done so many times before...

You are already quite familiar with them; you also know the potential problems and how to solve them. And since you know the task so well, you can explain and delegate them away without any difficulty at all.

2. Delegate Tasks To The Specialties

Unless you are a doctor or surgeon, you would not perform surgery on anybody!

The same principles should also apply to your work. You should always make the most of any specialties which are in your office.

Say you were responsible for ordering a new computer system; you could delegate the research to the computer programmer in your office.

Or say you have an employee who is good at math; you can give that person the responsibility of double-checking the calculations in your reports and figures etc...

Feeling like success is just around the corner and that you are ahead of others in your game will help insure that you are doing what is needed in order to get ahead in your life.

But how can we feel this way if things don't go the way we planned them?

Do not just view your job as something you need to get out of the way. You should really enjoy every minute of it. Always know in your heart that it will be of extreme value to your customers.

2. You Should Always Try To Keep On Top Of Your Appearance

Make sure that you look important. The way you look gives a certain message in people’s eyes. Make sure that message is one of success.

3. Your Entire Day Should Be One Full Of Positive Affirmations

The 2 Modes Of Expressing Yourself – Which Mode Do You Use Most?

We find that there is 2 ways of looking at any situation we may find ourselves in, for instance you may have heard the saying…

“Is the glass half empty or is the glass still half full?”

These 2 ways of expression may well refer to the same situation, yet if we examine them both we will see that they actually divide the world around us into light or darkness, into positive or negative, into plus or minus.

Now which of the 2 modes do you use most when you are thinking everyday?

Your mode of thinking leads to attracting those very things into your life. If your goal is to make more money and spend less time working, then you are going to have to focus on thinking about success, and not fearing it.

If your thinking is all dark and negative… if you always fear failure, then you will most definitely fail. Even to run away from your given circumstances will do you no good. You see your circumstances will only follow you wherever you go.

This is because your environment and present circumstances cannot change for you until your mind and heart does!

You cannot become unhappy if there is no doubt or negativity in your mind, to make you unhappy...

Researchers state that the average person thinks about 70,000 thoughts each and every day. Now just imagine the potential of your thoughts if only a fraction were backed up by positive modes of thought and creative action.

Unfortunately for most men and women, virtually all of these thoughts are the same ones that the individual has always thought about over a long period of time.

In addition, the great majority of these thoughts are negative by nature, which in turn creates a current negative present time in your life…

A good example of this is that most people do not believe that wealth and prosperity is a lifestyle choice which is fully within their own control…

Many people hold the belief that the only way they will ever get rich is by robbing a bank, breaking the law or by winning the lottery etc…

Other people’s skepticism can also be just enough to kill your desire - to pursue what may have otherwise been a fantastic opportunity for you.

Anything that is worth doing is worth doing well, and nothing that is worth doing well can be done without positive effort!

Still though, many people work themselves to the bone instead of spending more time with their creative thought because they are ruled by fear and by pressure to “make something of themselves” that society expects of them.

How many of your 70,000 daily thoughts are spend on worry and fear as opposed to the creative and positive process?

Don't let fear and worry rule over your life anymore. Use your mind power to attract every positive thing in life which you could ever hope for or desire.

Go for your dreams and ignore anything else but your creative positive mind.

Try to never take what negative-people say to you seriously… as it is sure to discourage you from your efforts, but this is only if you let it do so!

Your 7 Days Program To Self-Improvement

There are many ways to lose your sense of self-esteem despite of how trivial it could get. But whatever happens, we should try to never lose our own sense of self…

So what does it take to be a cut above the rest? Here are some of the things you can think and improve on which should be enough for a full week.

1… Always Know Your Purpose

Are you wandering through life with little direction - hoping that you'll find happiness, health and prosperity?

Identify your life purpose or mission statement and you will have your own unique compass which will lead you to your true north every time.

This may seem tricky at first, even more so if you see yourself to be in a tight or even dead end situation.

But there's always that little loophole to turn things around and you should always carry on no matter what – this alone can make a big difference towards your situation.

2… Always Know Your Values

What do you value most? Make a list of your top 5 values… some examples are security, freedom, family, helping others, self-improvement, learning etc…

As you set your goals for 2006 – check your goals against your values. If the goal doesn’t align with any of your top five values – you may want to reconsider it or make a few revisions to it.

The number of goals you may have shouldn’t discourage you; instead it should motivate you to do the best that you can, and attain more than you ever dreamed of.

3… Always Know Your Needs

Unmet needs can keep you from living happily. Take care of yourself. Do you have a need to be acknowledged, to be right, to be in control, to be loved?

There are so many people who lived their lives without realizing their dreams and most of them end up being stressed or even depressed for that matter.

List your top four needs and get them met before it’s too late!

4… Always Know Your Passions

You know who you are and what you truly enjoy in life. Obstacles like doubt and lack of enthusiasm will only hinder you, but will not derail your chance to become the person you ought to be.

Express yourself and honor the people who has inspired you to become the very person you wanted to be.

5… Always Live From The Inside Out

Increase your awareness of your inner wisdom by regularly reflecting in silence.

Commune with nature. Breathe deeply to quiet your distracted mind. For most of us city slickers it’s hard to even find the peace and quiet we want even in our own home.

You could try sitting in a dimly lit room and play some of your favorite music.

There’s sound, yes, but music does soothe us at times.

6… Always Honor Your Strengths

What are your positive traits? What special talents do you have? List three – if you get stuck, ask those closest to you to help identify them for you.

Are you creative, witty, easy going, good with your hands?

Find ways to express your authentic self through your strengths. You can increase your self-confidence when you can share what you know with others…

7… Always Try To Help Or Serve Others

When you are true to who you are, living your purpose and giving of your talents to the world around you, you give back in service what you came to share with others…

The gains for sharing your gift with those close to you are indeed rewarding, much more if it were to be the eyes of a stranger who can fully appreciate what you have done for them.

Self-improvement is indeed one type of work that is worth it. It shouldn't always be within the confines of an office building, or maybe in the four corners of your own room…

The difference lies within ourselves and how much we want to change for the better.
