The Planning of Your Day

We may feel that by listing all of the things which we have to do, or wish to do each day, will only make us feel “overwhelmed” and “tied down”.

We often hinder our own time management skills by simply not setting daily goals on paper - we may even find excuses why planning our daily activities each morning will not help our day roll along any more effectively!

The truth is…

None of us enjoy the thought of facing an overwhelming list of things-to-do. However, the solution is not to avoid planning your day, but rather to make your plans meaningful and also effective.

“This way your plans will give you more freedom instead of making you feel more tied down”.

Remember always try to be flexible with your plan, and do not feel that you must spend every morning planning your day and visualizing success…

Start out with only one or two days per week if you like, and then each week simply increase the number of days in which you plan. View your daily plan as the ticket to your success.

It is not a foe, but rather a friend. Know that planning is a tool which helps keep you in control, and control equals freedom!

Do You Start Your Day With A Plan?

It is said that our time management is only as effective as how well we plan it.

Do you want to get more work done in less time? Enjoy more personal time with your family and friends? And would you like to spend more time gaining momentum in life by reaching your real goals and desires.

If you are not spending at least 5 minutes every morning practicing visualization and planning your day, then you sure need to be… this will help you develop effective time management techniques.

Many people think or say, they are too busy to spend fifteen to thirty minutes every day trying to plan their day. Some people say that they have “just too many interruptions” going on to effectively take the time to plan their daily activities...

We have all had days where we may wake up late and have to hurry to get ready. And we all may have experienced a time when we are immediately scurried off to help a co-worker at work - before barely stepping one foot into the office.

These types of interruptions can be controlled.

Do not let them be your excuse for not planning when it comes to your time managing. Take the right action, and choose to be up earlier, or get to work sooner.

4 Simple Steps To The Life YOU Deserve!

Step 1: You First Need A Plan Of Action

Creating a vision for yourself and your life first requires you to ask yourself…

“What it is that gives my life meaning, purpose, and joy?”

Look at your talents. Look at your abilities. What makes you smile the instant you think about doing it? It’s very easy to determine what your special ability, gift or interest is. Simply ask yourself…

“What do I look forward to more than anything else in the world?”

Step 2: You Have To Tap Your Imagination

Now that you have decided to take action by creating a list of your talents, interests, and activities you enjoy the most, it is time to form a creative vision around them.

And you do this by doing what every person has the power to do at will:

Simply use your imagination to create your reality! Start imagining of all of the ways in which you can spend your time doing what you love most. Do not worry about everything making sense at this stage, just dream as if you were a young child again…

Step 3: You Must Set Your Goals Into Motion

Once you have decided what you want to do to create a better life for yourself by developing a vision, your next step is to set goals which will serve as stepping stones toward the attainment of your desired vision.

You can start setting these goals by asking yourself questions like…

“What do I want to accomplish with my life?”

”What kind of legacy do I want to leave behind?”

“What would I do if I had all of the money and time in the world?”

Make sure you keep your short term goals realistic and the rest - Big… be clear, to-the-point, meaningful, well defined, and above all - make sure your goals really Excite you!

Step 4: Always Enjoy The Journey You Are On

As you begin a new day today, always keep in mind everything which you have written down and envisioned for your better future…

You may not have the means to immediately jump into your desires, goals and plans above… but you can still start working towards them, by simply thinking of any outcomes you want to achieve while you are doing the best you can each day.

And of course you may still have to go to work today in the job that you would rather not have, deal with some problems, and do the things you must do which you would rather not be doing, etc…

But your real job now is to do them with vigor, happiness and excitement fully “knowing” that your future will change according to your vision when you are ready.

8 Easy Steps To Financial Freedom When You Retire

Do you know what your financial future will be like? Have you set up any goals which projects years ahead of today?

If not, then you may want to try setting up one year goals, five year goals, and maybe even ten or twenty year goals...

Have you ever thought about how much money you would like to have in your possession by the time you are 64 years old? Have you set up any retirement goals?

And do you know how much you will have to save in order to meet these financial goals?

The above are all types of questions which very few of us actually take the time out to consider, let alone write them down on paper as goals…

Now think about this for a moment. Most of us put more effort and energy into planning leisure activities than we do towards setting goals for our financial lives or futures - in which we only get one shot at.

It’s been said that most people will do more planning for a week's vacation, then they will their entire lives. Is it any wonder then that so many of us may feel somehow lost or without direction?

You must develop vision, clarity, and a firm idea of exactly what you want!

The first question we should ask is “How do I find out what my financial goals are?” This one is quite easy. Simply ask yourself specific financial questions that will turn out in the form of a 'financial analysis'.

Below you will find a few examples of questions that can help form a financial outline of where you want to be, what you want to do, or even where you want to go...

1. How much money would you like to make this month?

2. How much money would you like to make this year?

3. What point would you like to be at in your career and your income level in say the next 2 - 4 years from now?

4. What are the many options available and open to you to help raise your income to your desired level?

5. How much money will you need so that you may retire comfortably? And at what age do you desire to accomplish this?

6. What is your main goal when it comes to saving and investing to reach your retirement?

7. By breaking down your plan backwards, how much do you have to make each month or each week?

8. Are you taking action today from your financial working plan above?

Hard to imagine but, just by writing these answers down on paper and planning the steps it would take from where you are now to where you would like to be, you will have accomplished more planning than 80% of people do in an entire lifetime!

Let Go Of The Past And Look To The New Year

Do not begin the New Year by mentioning to yourself or others all your losses and sorrows. You must let the past go...

If a good friend gave you a present (say a nice new pair of shoes) would you insult her by throwing them aside and describing all the beautiful pairs of shoes you have had and already worn out in the past?

The New Year has given you the structure and material for a fresh start in life, why dwell upon the events which have already long gone, as the saying goes “let bygones be bygones”.

A "bygone" is something which has already happened; the time when it happened has "gone by".

Do Not Tell Me It Is Too Late To Be Successful Or Happy

Do not tell me you are sick or broken in spirit; the spirit cannot be sick or broken, because it is of energy.

Forget about all the money you may have lost, the mistakes you have made, the injuries you have received, the disappointments you have experienced...

It is unreasonable and untrue to imagine destiny has selected you for any special kind of suffering. Say to yourself with the beginning of this year that you are going to consider all your troubles as an education for your mind and that you are going to use them as lessons with witch to learn from.

Do Not Tell Me You Are Too Old

Age is all imagination. Ignore years and they will ignore you. Eat moderately. Exercise thoroughly and regularly.

Be alive, from tip to toe. Breathe deeply, filling every cell of the lungs for at least five minutes, morning and night, and when you draw in long, full breaths, believe you are inhaling health, wisdom, success and courage.

Anticipate good health. If it does not come at once, consider it a mere temporary delay, and continue to expect it...

If you will study your own mind and its limitless powers, you will gain a secret which shall give you whatever you desire.

Think of your body as the silver jewel box, your mind as the silver lining, your spirit as the gem. Keep the box polished and clear of dust, but remember always that the jewel within is the precious part of it.

Think of yourself as arriving just at the entrance or gate of never-ending success. A full, clear and glorious year lies right before you...

In a year you can gain health, fortune, calmness and happiness!

Mastery And Your Power To Obtain It

Isn't mastery reserved only for the super talented?

This is just not so,

Mastery is available to you, me and also anyone else who is willing to get on the mastery path, and stay on it…

- And this is regardless of age, knowledge or any previous experience.

Yes, mastery is not just for the fortunate few; anyone who pursues a personally challenging goal or desire, no matter how modest or small their starting point - can also experience its rewards.

Mastery can be instantly recognized and it often comes in many different forms, yet it still has to follow certain unchanging laws.

It can bring you rich rewards, yet it’s not really a desire, goal or a destination...

- But rather a practiced and refined process or journey.

And we call this journey Mastery...

The first lesson of mastery is the value of long-term dedication to the journey itself. If there is any sure route to personal fulfillment, it’s in valuing the patient and persistent journey toward mastery over the desire for quick and easy results.

For a person who is on the mastery journey its best conceived as something you have or something you are, rather then something you do.

And practice is the path upon which you travel – now practice can be anything you practice on a regular basis as an integral part of your life.

- Not in order to gain something else, but for its own sake.

It might be a sport or a hobby. It might be work or gardening it could even be meditation or community service, anything at all.

It’s important you be honest with yourself as you can achieve personal goals only if you face them head-on.

Can practice really make you perfect?

As Voltaire said,

"Perfection is attained by slow degrees; it requires the hand of time"

If you do choose this destiny for yourself - to walk the path of mastery, isn't always easy, but it’s the ultimate human adventure.

Desires and goals will appear, be achieved and left behind, and still the path will continue.

It will never end...

How then do you begin the journey towards mastery?

You need only to take the first step. But When?

- There's never a better time then today, Right Now.
